Summer 2019 will see Southport Half Marathon return for its 7th and biggest edition to date. We have increased the capacity and increased the entertainment and music on the traffic free route which includes Lord Street in Southport town centre and a start/finish area with live music and entertainment in Victoria Park. The route is the only running event in the history of Southport to be permitted to close Lord Street to traffic and allow participants to run through the heart of this famous seaside resort with custom medals and tech T Shirts for all finishers.
Fully UKA Licensed with HM & 10k courses accurately measured and officially certified distances.
On the day we will also be running a free family mile event, with medals for all finishers. We’re hoping to make the family mile the biggest event ever and encourage 1000 local children to take part.
Sunday 30th June 2019 (please see competitor information pack link below for full list of start times)

Family Mile Event
The free family mile event is for children. We are hoping to make it one of the biggest childrens races around. You must pre-register your child for the event via the main race entry link on this page whereupon you can select a family mile entry. The family mile is free so you will not be charged for your family mile entry. Pre-registering will ensure your child receives a race number and the all important finishers medal. Adults are able to run with their child(ren). Adults do not need to pre-register as adults will not receive a race number or medal for the family mile, it’s just for kids, (u16s).
