The EPIC Rivington Duathlon is a unique event, it’s known locally as the ‘start of season social race’ but there’s nothing particularly ‘social’ about the course! The format is simple – it’s Run/Bike/Run and entrants can either race Solo (as in any other duathlons) or choose a friend/race partner and stick together throughout the Run/Bike/Run. On the bike Pairs are allowed to work together by ‘drafting’ each other but not with other teams. The 3.5 mile trail run is a tough start and end to the race with a hilly 21 mile bike in between to make sure all duathletes finish with a grimace! It’s a fantastic event, an awesome atmosphere, lots of team rivalries and smiles all round. Race Solo or grab your partner and get entered!

The event start will be split in to 2 waves each separated by 5mins starting from 0800hrs;
Wave 1 = All Male Teams
Wave 2 = All Female Teams, Mixed Teams & All Solos
