West Lancs Spring Triathlon & Multisport – 19th April 2026

West Lancs Spring Triathlon takes place at the Award Winning Edge Hill University Campus, the perfect venue for a pool Triathlon and the event has become one of the most highly rated for first time triathletes in the country. Following the success of the Duathlon & Aquathlon options added in 2025, we will continue to offer these for 2026.

NEW FOR 2026 – AQUABIKE (Swim 400m/Bike 21k) – see below for details and to ENTER!

All abilities take part including some of the region’s elite competitors, but the event has really made it’s name as the perfect first time challenge. The 400m swim takes place in the 25m swimming pool in the Ā£25m Sports Centre, the 21.5k cycle is a relatively flat 3 lap course and the 2 lap 5k run takes on the fitness trails around campus before finishing on the running track to the cheers of your family and supporters.

West Lancs Triathlon is our #MyFirstTri event for 2026. The course, distances and support make this event perfect for a first triathlon.
