The Mountain Kidz charity project is funded by Epic Events and Lakeland 100. Our aim is to reach as many children from disadvantaged backgrounds as possible and offer them
the opportunity to explore the Lake District.

We’ve partnered with the Coniston community and use Coniston John Ruskin Museum and Coniston Sports & Social Club as our base for the day. The project is aimed at primary school children, years 5 & 6 and is free to schools. We deliver a day of local history, natural art, wildlife, local stories, den building, cooking on open fires and exploring caves. Lunch is also included free of charge for all of the children.
