Entries are now open for the EPIC triathlons 2024. We’re looking forward to next year and already planning hard to ensure you experience an EPIC day of swim, bike and run. So what’s on the calendar for next year?

Sunday April 7th, West Lancs Spring Triathlon – Our incredibly popular start to the season at Edge Hill University. It’s one of our MyFirstTri events as it’s ideal for first timers through to experienced racers. The course is flat and fast, the atmosphere is always EPIC!!

Sunday 5th May, the Kona of the North, Horwich Triathlon – It’s the ‘Race to the Pike’ and the ‘Kona of the North’. The race is one of the oldest in the UK and a firm favourite with the local triathlon community. It’s a tough course with EPIC local support, make sure you join us!

Sunday 19th May, Southport Triathlon – Sprint and Standard Distance Open Water Triathlon – One of the few events in the UK to be based on closed roads and one of the biggest events in the region. You can choose either the sprint or standard distance. Swim in Southport Marine Lake, cycle on the closed coast road then run round the Marine Lake. The sprint event is a qualifier for the ITU World Age Group Sprint Distance Championships 2025.

Sunday 2nd June, Ullswater Epicman Triathlon – Sprint, Standard & Epicman Middle Distance Open Water Triathlon – Parkfoot Holiday Park in Pooley Bridge is an EPIC venue for this open water event, which has moved to an earlier June date. Swim in Ullswater, cycle scenic roads, then run a looped course along the shores of Ullswater. You can choose to enter the sprint, standard or middle distance event. NEWSFLASH!! – This year the sprint distance event will incorporate the Triathlon England Age Group Championships!!

Sunday August 25th, West Lancs Summer Triathlon – Our re-run of the Spring Triathlon at Edge Hill University. It’s also one of our MyFirstTri events as it’s ideal for first timers through to experienced racers. Join us for an EPIC late summer pool sprint event.
