Entries are now open for the EPIC triathlons, duathlons and aquathlons 2025. We’re looking forward to next year and already planning hard to ensure you experience an EPIC day of swim, bike and run. So what’s on the calendar for next year?
Sunday March 16th, The Rivington Firefighters Duathlon – ENTRIES NOW OPEN
This iconic social season opener has been a favourite for North West competitors, over the last 15 years. Now based at Rivington, run 4 miles, cycle 25 miles and run 4 miles with a partner of choice, working together throughout. If you can’t find a suitable partner don’t worry, you can race solo instead!
Sunday April 13th, West Lancs Spring Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon – ENTRIES NOW OPEN
Our incredibly popular start to the season at Edge Hill University is ideal for first timers through to experienced racers. The course is flat and fast, the atmosphere is always EPIC!!
NEW FOR THIS YEAR – In addition to the sprint triathlon event, there will also be an aquathlon and duathlon event, so you now have more options!
Sunday 4th May, the Kona of the North, Horwich Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon – ENTRIES NOW OPEN
It’s the ‘Race to the Pike’ and the ‘Kona of the North’. The race is one of the oldest in the UK and a firm favourite with the local triathlon community. It’s a tough course with EPIC local support, you can choose the sprint or standard distance event, make sure you join us!
NEW FOR THIS YEAR – In addition to the standard and sprint triathlon event, there will also be a sprint and standard distance aquathlon and a sprint and standard distance duathlon event, there’s so many options to choose from!!
Sunday 18th May, Southport Triathlon, Duathlon & Aquathlon – Sprint and Standard Distance Open Water Triathlon – ENTRIES NOW OPEN
One of the few events in the UK to be based on closed roads and one of the biggest events in the region. You can choose either the sprint or standard distance. Swim in Southport Marine Lake, cycle on the closed coast road then run round the Marine Lake.
Southport Standard Distance Triathlon 2025 will also be a qualifier for the 2026 European Standard Distance Triathlon Age group Championships.
NEW FOR THIS YEAR – In addition to the sprint and standard triathlon and duathlon events, there will also be a sprint and standard distance aquathlon, so there’s something for everyone!
Sunday 29th June, Ullswater Epicman Triathlon & Duathlon – Sprint, Standard & Epicman Middle Distance Open Water Triathlon & duathlon – ENTRIES NOW OPEN
Parkfoot Holiday Park in Pooley Bridge is an EPIC venue for this open water event, which has moved to an earlier June date. Swim in Ullswater, cycle scenic roads, then run a looped course along the shores of Ullswater. You can choose to enter the sprint, standard or middle distance event.
NEW FOR THIS YEAR – In addition to the sprint, standard and middle distance triathlon event, there will also be a sprint, standard and middle distance duathlon event, so take your pick!
Sunday August 24th, West Lancs Summer Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon – ENTRIES NOW OPEN
Our re-run of the Spring Triathlon at Edge Hill University. It’s also one of our MyFirstTri events as it’s ideal for first timers through to experienced racers. Join us for an EPIC late summer pool sprint event.
